Meredith Joyce Buhanan was born on March 16, 2015 to our friends Lydia and Jared Buhanan in Sugar Land, Texas. Meredith was diagnosed with heart valve blockage and a hole in her heart. She is undergoing surgery today, March 22, 2015, her older sister's, Amelia, 3rd birthday for the valve blockage. She will be in Texas Children's Hospital for 2-3 weeks after the surgery today. In about a month Meredith will have surgery to repair the hole in her heart.

Meredith Update!
Meredith's valve surgery is over. The blocked valve is open, the blood is flowing, and she was stable throughout the surgery. Praise God and continued blessings for Meredith and the Buhanan Family.

Meredith is doing much better today. Her color was back to normal just after the valve was opened. Thank you for all the kind words of love and support for Meredith and the Buhanan/Pace Family. Lydia was able to get some much needed rest, too.
March 25, 2015
Meredith had here breathing tube removed yesterday and is doing fine. Lydia was able to hold her precious baby girl. Great news - Jared just emailed a picture of Lydia holding Meredith and they were moved out of the NICU to a regular room. Please keep the prayers and donations flowing for this deserving family.

Meredith was able to have all remaining tubes removed yesterday. Things are going well for all of them. Your continued love, support, and prayers are always a blessing for them during Meredith's period of recovery.
