Help for the Sanders Family

Hi, my name is Brittany Sanders. I am the wife to Shawn Sanders. We are the Mother and Father to 3 beautiful children ages 2, 1, and a newborn. My husband was recently scheduled for outpatient spinal fusion surgery on Thursday, March 21, 2024. Unfortunately, his surgery turned into a tragedy. Today makes the beginning of day 20 of being in the Hospital. We have recently found out that Shawn has permanent nerve damage secondary to his surgery and will not be able to walk again. He is paralyzed in his left lower leg completely and some movement in his right leg. He is always in excruciating pain and discomfort. Our lives have forever changed! We will now have to adapt to this new lifestyle, unfortunately. My husband will no longer be able to work and I have been unable to work being there for my husband and our 3 children. Shawn will be in a wheelchair and will require care. Our entire house has to be handicapped accessible now. We currently do not have the funds to be able to get this done. Our financials are becoming slim due to his continuous hospitalization. We are both asking for any contributions to be able to help us with bills, mortgage, medication, care for the children, and house renovations in order to bring Shawn (daddy) back home to us. This has been a very emotional, physical, and mentally exhausting for us both. Anything that you all can give would greatly be appreciated by Shawn and I both. This has been a very difficult situation and we are praying for help from our friends, family, and generous people. We are trying to stay positive and remember that God will not give us more than we can handle and we are asking for help during this time. If you cannot give, please just uplift my husband and our family in prayer as we continue to endeavor this new lifestyle change.
