Support Holly's Fight Against Cancer

My friend Holly Hamilton, who has always lived to serve, help, and love others, has cervical cancer that has spread to uterine cancer and is now in need of our help for medical bills. She has been on chemo for months and it’s time for surgery.

Holly’s the type to give you her car if you need one, pay your rent if you can’t, and be your only friend when you feel like you don’t have a single person you can count on. She’ll cover your shift at work even if it means two weeks without a day off. She gives and gives and gives and never asks for anything in return. Even when she’s in need too, she won’t show it.

Until recently moving home to be near family during these hard health struggles, she lived in Hurricane, Utah during the time this year that it got days of rain. Her car was buried in water and mud along with her basement apartment, putting a thick layer of mud on all of her belongings. Even then, she had a smile on her face and an “it’s just stuff” attitude. A point of view I don’t think many of us would have if overnight all of our belongings were ruined and useless.

So without a car, without the majority of things she’s walked her 43 years of life with, and with a cancer diagnosis that’s taken her health and hair and left her barely 100 lbs and in the midst of chemotherapy, she moved home to Orem, Utah to be near family. And still hasn’t felt that anyone needs to be worrying or helping her.

So I’m asking for her. On a recent call, she said she’s somewhere between $40,000 and $50,000 in debt in medical bills. Anything you can do to help my friend who is the most deserving person I know of a helping hand will be greatly appreciated.
