Fighting for Katie

Katie is a beloved 26 year old Mother, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend who is in desperate need of a miracle. 

On the evening of  March 5, 2020 Katie was having trouble breathing so she was rushed to the emergency room. That night we learned her liver and kidneys were failing her. They admitted her into the ICU and after she became extremely lethargic, she was heavily sedated. 
As of today, we have learned that unfortunately both kidneys have totally failed, and she is dependent on dialysis. We are currently waiting to find out if her liver has even a tiny bit still functioning on its own, but with the state she is in currently, they can’t exam it at this time. 

Katie has the absolute most beautiful, kind, gentle, radiating soul; the type of soul that can move mountains. You could be having the worst day and within minutes of being just around her she reminds you of how beautiful life is. As you can imagine, anyone that has ever known her, is hurting deeply. When I say we are praying for a miracle- if she pulls through- it will be just that. But i know how strong and powerful this beautiful human is, and I have such faith that she can overcome anything life throws at her, because the world needs her in it. 
I chose to make this go fund me page for Katie and her family, to help with any financial burdens that they will need help with in the upcoming future.
