David's Road to Recovery

David Bruun was the victim of a horrific car accident on March 20th, in which another car ran a red light at high speeds, t-boning David's truck, causing it to disintegrate as he spun across the intersection, slamming into a bus and a traffic post, before finally coming to a halt.

David is incredibly lucky to be alive - This could have easily been a very different story.

Although alive, David sustained multiple injuries - a bleeding kidney, bleeding lungs a fractured vertebrae and a bad concussion. Still in recovery, David will be unable to work for 3-6 months as he will need to remain in a neck brace while his vertibrae heals.

We are asking for any donations, big and small to help cover David's costs of living and any additional costs during this time. It's unclear whether he'll receive any support from ICBC as they are fighting their responsibility to rightfully cover the costs of the damage.

Anyone who's met David knows that he is literally one of the kindest, most generous and giving people alive. He never asks for anything, and always gives back in droves - even taking the time to call from the hospital post crash to cover his Jiu Jitsu shifts. This is our chance as a community to show David our support and give back to him in his time of need.
