Help With Recovery and Medical Bills
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Shelby and I’m raising money for my sister, Molly.
On Saturday May 13, the day before Mother’s Day, Molly was rear ended by a truck going around 70 miles per hour while she was sitting in park pulled off the interstate in Williamsburg, KY. I was there to witness the accident and, although traumatizing, I’m thankful I could be by my sister’s side to hold her hand.
After being cut out of the vehicle, she was life flighted to the UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN, where she stayed until the 16th in the trauma unit. While there, Molly received 4 CAT scans, an MRI, and an echocardiogram, and also received 3 staples in the back of her head.
Even though Molly was released from the hospital, there is still a possibility that she could have an aneurysm, stroke, or continued bleeding while her brain is recovering. Due to this, she will be out of work for quite a while and will have to have someone with her 24/7 in case of an emergency.
Molly and her partner Keith have 4 children. All 4 children are in different schools, sports, and after school programs. All of this responsibility is now falling on Keith, who works full time away from the home.
The financial strain of taking care of their children, home, and impending medical bills while simultaneously trying to regain health and strength is not something I want my sister to have to worry about right now. I would really appreciate if you could help take that concern away by donating or sharing this fundraiser.
Thank you!
