PERFECT MUTILATION is a short student film about the frontman of a rock band that gets thrown into a manic drug trip after taking an unfamiliar drug and making an unsavory deal before putting on the biggest show to date.

My (preferred) name is Marceline Wen, and I am currently in my thesis year as a film student at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. I, with my incredible pre-production team (1st AD Francesca Mia Valle and Executive Producer Pranavi Davuluri) am excited to announce the production of my newest project, PERFECT MUTILATION!

I've directed and produced several short films during my time at SVA, and while I will still be producing certain things out of my pocket for PM, I mainly want to crowdfund for the bigger and crucial elements of this film including:

PERFECT MUTILATION begins principal production in early January as a three-day production, and all we ask for is any support as we continue to develop and move forward in our pre-production process! Since this is my senior thesis, it is my most personal film to date, and I cannot wait to share this film with you and delve into the deeper aspects of its allegory and meaning.
