Plz Help with Chico and Stewie’s Vet Hospital Bill

After ingesting raisins and chocolate from trail mix, both of our dogs, Chico & Stewie, landed in the emergency veterinarian hospital. They will both stay at the hospital for 3 nights and then they will be able to come home with us.
Here is a little history of this wonderful bonded pair. Through the Nextdoor app, in September 2017, we adopted them when their owner passed away. They had spent the better part of the summer with just a doggie door and a kind neighbor looking in on them. The neighbors on Acuna St may remember them. Yes, Stewie still loves to play with a ball and Chico looks on adoringly while he plays. We call her his cheerleader!
A little about us: we lead very quiet lives with our pets who are our kids. Due to Covid neither of us has worked since March. My husband’s industry probably won’t go back to work until summer of 2021 at the earliest. Up until now, we have been able to financially navigate Covid at home.
We are the neighbors who drive around looking for lost pets. Over the summer, we looked for Loki on Mt Albertine Ave. In the middle of the night, we found Maverick and Tbone from Mount Ariane Dr. We also found Tikaani from Mount Gaywas Dr. on one of her walkabouts.
Pride goes before fall. It is hard for us to ask for help but any amount would be a huge help! It will be used for Chico and Stewie’s hospital stay and follow up care. Right now, the estimate bill for just the emergency hospital is $7K.
