My mom has lived in the same home for over 30 years — the place where she raised her kids and created countless memories. This past year, she tried to buy the home, but sadly it didn’t work out.

A couple of months ago, the property got a new landlord. Even though she has continued paying rent, just a few days ago he took her to court for eviction. Now, after all this time, she has to leave the home she’s known for decades, and she has very little time to do so.

We’ve been able to find a few possible places for her to rent, but we’re scrambling to come up with the money for moving expenses, deposits, and the first month’s rent.

My mom has always been the kind of person to give what she has and put others first. Now she’s in a situation where she needs help, and as her family, we’re asking for support to make sure she doesn’t face this move alone.
