PLS HELP US GO HOME AFTER 33 MONTHS IN HOSPITAL

My name is Joy Browne, and this is my story. Nathan was born in October 2019 with complex cardiac disease. He was also born with his bowel and liver outside his umbilical cord. Because of his complexities and comorbidities, we have never been home. He has had 11 operations in total, including an open heart operation.

I am married with two other children, almost 12 years old. We all moved into a housing accommodation called Ronald Mcdonald House Charities to be closer to baby and have been living there since Nathan was born. We have never been home. My son was denied nine (9) times for his heart operation but finally had it done last November. Words cannot describe how I feel mentally, and would only hope that my mental state improves over time. But that's in God's hands.

We have been rehoused, and the house has been adapted to meet his needs. But it's all empty, requiring some work done. We haven't been home in almost three years, and what we have is not even enough to look after us at the moment. So we have had to keep life going for Nathan in hospital and the twins who have been caught up in the web and had to stay with us in hospital.

We have managed this on our own, believing God every day for the better and NHS professionals have been doing their best for Nathan for 33 months. Now, I want people to know what I have been going through and step in. Enough of the smiley face and feeling worthless within. I need help with what I can gather to sort the house and all that my children will need. No time to work with so much impact on my mental health.

I am very private, but that has only made me more depressed now. Please do your best to support me and help me gain my sanity. I am no longer the same Joy I used to be. Peradventure, I get more than I expected; I will ensure Ronald McDonald House receives some of the money and then pay towards a private student loan I took to do my master's degree in 2018. They have shown me no mercy and have taken almost all of my son's money off me every month.
