Pls help support Steven Lewis in his liver trans.recovery❤️

My name is Rodelin Lewis. My husband Steven Lewis was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver in 2023 due to alcohol when he was younger and hep c from working at a homeless shelter. We moved to NC 2023 and not too long after he was diagnosed. We had our own wholesale retail business that went down the drain because of his sickness. God has been faithful to his word. He’s been awesome and knows what he’s doing. April 13 2025 I took my husband to the ER for his hernia. Not knowing that it was bad. He was sent to UNC Chapel hill liver transplant center that same day and had an emergency surgery. We had to stay at a housing facility because we live 3 hrs away from the hospital. May 13 we had an appointment as a follow up and ended up in the hospital again not knowing his liver and kidney was getting worse. He was not on the transplant list because we need someone to sign off on taking care of the kids. That same day my Pastors decided to take the responsibility of taking care of the kids and we were put on the transplant list. God is so awesome ❤️. That was Tuesday. Thursday I went back home and my husband called me and told me there was a liver for him for Friday, 30 minutes later he called me back and said there another liver and might be ready that same night. I dropped what I was doing and gave my pastors the keys and headed to UNC. But God says that’s not the liver I have for you. Went thru 2 livers and it was not for him. I believe that God was trying to see if we have patience. We told God that we trust him and will do whatever he needs us to do. To God be the glory Saturday came and they have a liver and it was put in Sunday afternoon. He is doing great to the glory of God. We were not prepared for this and we’re in need of your help. I have to tend to him and not able to work. I applied to be his caretaker but they put me on the waiting list. We have to stay at a housing that is not as expensive as a hotel but we still have to pay for it in advance. There also some doctors bills piling up. So if you can see it in your heart and let the Lord lead you to help, we will be so grateful. To God goes all the glory and honor. He deserves all our praise. We love you and thank you in advance.
