Please help Spooky get an MRI

Hi, I am Ursula, Spook’s mum.

Spook needs your help please.

Spooky has been suffering for a suspected bulging disk for two weeks. He cannot turn his head to the left and the pain radiates down his left leg, causing him trip when he walks.

Two vet visits in five days and anti-inflammatories and painkillers have not provided any relief.

Spooky needs an MRI on his neck for the vet to be able to provide the best course of treatment.

I have been quoted $4,000 for the MRI.

I have started to sell what I can, however it will take me a few months to reach that goal and Spooky needs help now.

We are going through the Belconnen Veterinary Centre for the MRI. They have kindly agreed to set up an invoice for us, for anyone that would like to make donations directly to them. They can be contacted on (02) 5134 6999.

A little about Spooky - Spooky is almost 13yrs young and in 2019 he became a Delta Therapy dog - yay!

For three years Spooky gave much love and support to the patients at The Canberra Hospital, during his weekly visits.

He climbed into their beds, licked their hands and ate all the toast and pastries that were on offer.

You know how they say a dog is a man’s best friend? Well, Spooky is everyone’s best friend. He has a huge heart for people and pugs! Yes, pugs! He will love you instantly and persistently shove his snout under your hand or armpit for pats - it’s only problematic when you’re holding a cup of tea.

So, please help Spooky get his spark back.
