Dear friends,
I am organizing this campaign to help my Colleague/Friend Abhay Kumar's wife Priyanka. All the funds will directly reach Abhay Kumar and Priyanka.
Priyanka suffered a major brain hemorrhage due to sudden high blood pressure and was admitted in the nuero-surgical ICU at Kaiser Redwood City. She then suffered two more brain strokes in less than a week and doctors are still trying to remove the resultant blood clots and prevent further strokes. Due to the strokes, she lost her speech and movement of her limbs on the left side of her body.
Priyanka is a 42 year old doting mother of two beautiful children (15 yrs and 12 yrs), a loving wife, responsible daughter, protective sister, and an amazingly kind and selfless human being. Priyanka is a very happy & cheerful person who enjoyed volunteering, organizing events for her loved ones and those in need, and taking care of everyone around her. if you needed a shoulder to cry on and didn’t know where to look, if you knew Priyanka you knew she would always be there for you no matter what it took from her. She is an independent language interpreter and spent most of her life helping the underprivileged voice their feelings and concerns. Who had imagined one day she will not be able to express her own pain to the world. Due to the nature of her job, she didn't get the benefits that most of us would have been eligible for. Her husband tried his best to cover the expenses on his single income and still provide for the rest of the family as well, however the bills finally caught up after 3 months and it was evident that life had become a constant struggle.
As Priyanka's friend, I am trying my best to help her family survive the catastrophic event. This is an unpredictable event that can happen in anyone’s life, so I humbly request you for your love & support and to remember her and her family in your prayers.
Lets get together to help her get the care and assistance she needs and help her recover to become the independent, strong, protective, caring, and loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend all of us know her to be.
