Pls Help Noah Barber Fight Cancer

Donation protected
In September of 2017 our 8 year old son Noah Kamakana Meanui Barber was diagnosed with cancer, and after further testing found out specifically it was T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. It is a treatable cancer with a high cure rate and Noah will have to endure up to 3 ½ years of treatment. He was admitted to Kapiolani Hospital and had to stay there for a little over a week. He has a great team of doctors and nurses who have provided the best care we could hope for. Noah is the toughest person we know as we watch him endure these grueling treatments of chemotherapy, steroids, spinal taps and bone marrow biopsies. As well as a multitude of other medications and the side effects that accompany them. We now visit the Pediatric Ambulatory Unit (PAU) weekly, sometimes 4 days a week for 10 to 12 hours at a time for his procedures and medications. My wife Rosalind had to quit her job in order to take care of Noah and get him to and from his appointments as this is our new “normal”. Often times I have to take off of work to help when he has serious adverse effects of the chemo and also to provide a boost of moral support. This journey we are on now has taken an emotional, physical, spiritual and financial toll on our family. We thank everyone of you for your generous financial donations that help with Noah's rising medical expenses but also for other costs such as putting take-out food on the table when we are too exhausted to cook, gas in the vehicles to get to Noah’s appointments, groceries for a healthier diet and just assisting with everyday living. It makes a huge difference, thank you. Our family, mommy (Rosalind), daddy (myself, Steve), older brother Stephen Jr., older sister Rylee, identical twin Nathaniel and especially Noah thank you for everything and hope to see you or meet you in the near future. We are blessed to have a strong foundation of God, family, friends and to receive donations and prayers from all over the world. Please share Noah's journey, God Bless you all!

We also wanted to thank the Punahou football team moms for rallying around us and starting this campaign for Noah shortly after his diagnosis when our family could barely function. Below is their heartfelt message for this campaign which we hold dear to our hearts. Thank you.

"Aloha,

Please help the Barber Ohana, one of our very own Punahou Families, help offset their medical expenses for Noah Kamakana Meanui Barber, 8 year old little brother of Punahou Varsity Football Quarterback Stephen Barber c/o 2018 and Rylee Barber c/o 2020. Noah is a student at a local elementary school and is receiving treatment for cancer.

Your love and support would be a blessing to the Barber Ohana.
