In July this year, at the age of 31, our beautiful Becky was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive blood cancer.

She was busy caring for her gorgeous son Freddie, whilst juggling her job at The Guide Dogs Association, when she found a breast lump. She did the right thing and had it checked straight away, and never in her wildest dreams would have expected to find she had a dangerous cancer that had already spread throughout her body.

She immediately commenced chemotherapy which has removed her dream for another child (after the tragic stillbirth of their first son in the late stages of pregnancy).

She is now in the fight of her life, undergoing the most brutal of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant.

She has been an inpatient in RNSH for much of the past 6 months having gruelling treatment. She has terrible symptoms from the chemotherapy, has unrelenting infections, frequent need for blood transfusions and platelets, and worst of all is unable to see Freddie as no children are able to visit the ward.

She is looking at spending Christmas in hospital.

She's used up all of her sick leave, and although her husband is working as many hours (as a personal trainer) as possible, (whilst balancing looking after their young son and visiting her in hospital), finances are now very tight.

If you could please donate any amount (big or small), so that we can try and relieve some of the financial stress this wonderful family are under, then that would be a true Christmas blessing.

Thank you,
Ellie
