We are a team of students from Chapman University. Our goal? To make a movie that's raw, heartfelt, and sends a message about family in a way no one has seen before.
Plot 19 is the story of 15 year old Alfonso, who must rob a grave as part of a gang initiation. In the process, he is suddenly confronted with the mother of the person whose grave he is robbing. Ultimately, this film revolves around the idea that you get to choose your family, although that choice is not always easy.
In order to see this film through to the end, we need funds to help with equipment, location fees, props, transportation, crew, and more.
We need to reach our goal by October 25th, the week before shooting, in order to accommodate our budget.
Every single person on this crew is invested in this film and dedicated to getting it done efficiently, correctly, and with heart. We need your help to give us the resources to do what we're most passionate about.
