Help Patty Duprey fight Leiomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer!!!
Many family members and friends, near and far, have reached out to us, asking what they could do to help. We thought this would be the easiest way for everyone and the most sensible way, since so many expenses are not covered by insurance. There is an account set up at Community Bank under "Friends of Patty Duprey" for those that would like to make a direct contribution and bypass Go Fund Me.
At this point, it looks like Patty and Doc have a long road ahead of them and will be in Texas for Patty's treatment for a few months, at least, depending how she tolerates it and how her cancer responds to the therapy. This time, the cancer has invaded her spine. On top of chemo and radiation, she will be undergoing an operation to hopefully remove the tumors from the sites where they were found. She will definitely not be returning to work and Doc is now retired. Lessening the financial burden would help in so many ways.
