Please Help Steven Cooke's Recovery

Many of you will know Steven Cooke, Teacher and Chess Coach extraordinaire from Kings Christian College.
Sadly a few weeks ago Steven was in a terrible motorcycle accident, and is very fortunate and thankful to still be alive. However, he suffered severe injuries to his foot, and has since had 3 surgeries and has been confined to a hospital bed.
Steven is unable to work, not only in his normal full time teaching role, but is also unable to perform his normal Chess Coaching which accounts for a significant portion of his income.
Steven is such a well loved and respected teacher at Kings, and gives so much to the school community and to the kids on a daily basis, always going above and beyond.
He truly has a teachers heart, always putting the kids first, and is such a valuable part of many of our children's lives. You only have to look to any swimming or athletic's carnival, and you will see Mr Cooke screaming for every competitor in every race, cheering them on and leading by example with his house spirit.
The kids love and admire him, as do the parents, and I'd really love for us all to rally around him and his family at this difficult time to show our appreciation.
Steven is married with three young children to support, and with him still being bound to a hospital bed, and months of rehab and a long road to recovery ahead, it would be fantastic for the school community to gather around him and his family and help ease their financial burdons at this time.
If you would like to say thank you to Mr Cooke for everything he has done, and will continue to do for our kids and the Kings community, I know he and his family would really appreciate any donations you could make to help them out.
