Please help save my Dottie girl

I took Dottie to the vet today because she has had rapid and drastic weight loss, and has been lethargic with labored breathing. I got some pretty devastating news. My sweet girls' entire intestinal tract and stomach are in her chest cavity, putting preasure on her heart and lungs. This is causing her chest to fill with fluids, basically suffocating her. The situation is dire. I have been faced with the choice of getting her into a pretty extensive emergency surgery at WSU or putting my best friend to sleep. I can not, and will not give up on my girl without a fight! I rescued Dottie from a terrible situation where she spent the first half of her life badly  abused and neglected. The vet thinks that due to a severe injury or the abuse she went through before she was with me, a hernia developed in her diaphram  creating this problem. He said some dogs can live like this for a while before it is detected, untill it becaomes a problem. This is why we didn't catch it before it was almost too late.  I was not prepaired for this emotionally or finacially. I work very hard, and take the very best care of my animals as possible, but like so many of us, I live paycheck to paycheck, and this was just not in the budget. I would not ask for this help if I weren't desparate. The vet will not operate without a $3000 deposit to start.. and the full cost is due when she is released.I know that things are tight for everyone these days, but any little bit of help would be greatly appreciated by me and my little family.  Even $5 gets us that much closer to saving her.

I have depleated my accounts and  am contacting every pet rescue orginization I can find. I have also applied for care credit, but was only approved for $500, but thats still something. I will continue to do everything in my power to contribute more.  I am so very greatful for all the support I have recieved so far, and I will make sure to pay it forward as soon as we get through this.

Dottie is truely one of the gentlest souls I have ever known... The day I met her, it was her doing the rescuing, not me. She deserves a fighting chance...and she is strong, I know she can make it through this with our help!
