Please help save my sister's life

Hello Everyone, 

My name is Nancy Ybarra. A week ago I received a call from my sister—Carina, saying that she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I was heartbroken. Since then, my family and I have tried to be strong for her. Telling her that everything was going to work out and that we were here to support her.

 My sister leaves in Texas, besides her kids, she has no real family to be with her physically due to the fact that we are all in California. We were all waiting to hear when her surgery was going to take place.

Today, my heart broke once again when I found out that her insurance (Cigna Health Spring HMO) will not cover the surgery that she needs. Carina needs a neuro surgeon with skull base expertise and orbital tumor experience. She was referred by Dr. Klett from Southwest Eye Institute in El Paso, TX to Dr. Biti Esmaeli at AD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX.

We all feel so helpless, we are scared that we will lose her due to the cost of her treatment and we are desperate to get the funding that we need to help her live. I don’t want to lose the sister—who I love with all my heart and soul—due to the lack of money.

I never thought in a million years that I would ever have to create a Go fund me page in order to save my sisters life, unfortunately, I am and it’s breaking my heart writing this.

Please help me save my sister.
