Hi everyone! I'm a 43 yr old female that has stage IV ovarian cancer. I was diagnosed in February of 2020. I have Medi-Cal as my insurance but this does not cover all of my treatments, medications, and cancer care. I have been left with huge bills that have left my family and I nearly bankrupt.
On Feburary 4th, my BIL, passed away from Covid. It left my sister in a bad place financially. I gave her my SSI check(Its not much. Enough for food and transportation for a month)for the last 2 month so she could pay rent. It has set me back on my bills even further. I am in a really bad place financially. But I could let her lose her home.
To add to everything, in December, my furnace broke. I have no heat. Also, in the last couple months, a hole has opened up in my kitchen ceiling. I need to replace the furnace and get the roof fixed.
