Please, Ysgol Derwenfa need’s your help

Hi, my name is Suzanne and I’m part of Friends Of The School at Ysgol Derwenfa, Leeswood, North Wales.

When school opened for the children on Friday 6th May, all the children and staff were left devastated to find someone had been to the school the night before and vandalised the equipment.

The vandals have destroyed the Early Years area and breaking things which are no longer fixable. They have also damaged the school roof from climbing up and damaging the tiles.

 

These are learning resources for little children and now they have nothing as they have been selfishly taken away from them and destroyed.

 

The school is desperate for CCTV to be installed but unfortunately the only way this can happen is to go through the right contacts with the council. This then Costs thousands of pounds.

As a small school we physically do not have the funds to pay for this so we are asking for the generosity of the public to make this happen.

 

 

The funds will be used to have CCTV installed and hopefully replace any equipment that has been broken.

 

This unfortunately isn’t the first time that the school has been vandalised so it’s massively important that we put a stop to it now and avoid anymore heartache for the children, staff and parents.

 

Please give what ever you can afford as it will all help to save our school.
