Aloha, My father, Warlito Campos, has been sick for months. He went to his doctor, and they couldn't find anything wrong. Going back and forth getting blood tests. He would be weak, have no appetite, and lose weight. We decided to seek a second opinion and transport him to Queens Medical Center on Oahu.

We live on the Big Island, so getting to Queens Medical Center requires us to fly to another island. We wanted to see if we could get a referral first.

On Friday, Sept. 6, we visited Waimea Hospital to speed up the process of obtaining the necessary help and answers. His body could not wait for the scan and additional tests scheduled for the following Wednesday.

On the way to church on Saturday, Sept. 7, Warlito was cold, shivering, and in and out of consciousness, so we decided to admit him to Kona ER. They did scans and found out he had masses in his stomach, kidneys, liver, and spleen.

On Sunday, September 8, we flew him to Oahu Queens Medical Center Punchbowl to further investigate the situation. In Queens, doctors conducted additional tests to assess the condition of these masses.

On Wednesday, September 18, I got the news that it's stage 4 lymphoma.

With his fevers and blood pressure going up and down, they needed to wait until he was stable and ready to do his chemotherapy.

On Sunday, September 22, they started to do his first treatment of chemo, but he had a severe reaction and had to stop. He had chills, fever, and sweat throughout the night.

The next day, Monday, September 23rd, after his body rested and his fever and blood pressure were under control, they tried again, and it went well.

There are about 6–8 treatments he will need. They would all be 21 days apart. My mom and dad want to stay up in Oahu, close to the hospital, because of the resources and specialists that Queens has to offer.

Unfortunately, they lack transportation and are ineligible for Hope Lodge, as Warlito requires in-home physical therapy. So he would have to be more mobile and independent, even with the help of my mom by his side.

All proceeds will be allocated towards housing, daily expenses, assistance with certain medical bills, and assistance with travel and transportation.

I appreciate you taking your time to read in your busy schedule. Thank you for your help, and please keep my dad and my family in your prayers.
