Hi, my name is Stephanie Gonzalez and I am fundraising on behalf of Troop 4444 in memory of our AMAZING Girl Scout Troop leader, Jennifer Smith. Jennifer passed away unexpectedly on April 21st, 2023. She was one of the most kind and selfless people I have known. No matter what she may have been dealing with she was always putting others first and trying to help out those in need. She has been the girl's troop leader for years and was excited to be helping the girls towards earning their Gold Awards this year. Jen made this troop a family which is why it remained such a large group for an older Girl Scout troop.

Now it's time for us to give back to Jen and her family. First and foremost, Jen was a dedicated wife and mother. We would like to fundraise to help her husband, Scott Smith, and her kids Kaitlyn, Tim, Cameron, Dylan, and Ryan navigate through this extremely difficult time. If you are in Girl Scouts you know just how much time and dedication the troop leaders put into their troops. Jen went above and beyond to make sure all the girls were thriving in Girl Scouts and life in general. She had a warm soul that will be missed beyond measure! Any donation big or small is welcome.
