Hello friends,

We are raising money to help our dear friend Tracy (Chesledon) Bahr and her family cover the overwhelming medical costs associated with her urgent cancer care. Tracy is facing a rare and aggressive form of intestinal/colon cancer, "Mucinous Signet Ring Cell," one that requires immediate, extensive, and highly specialized treatment.

Tracy has already undergone two major surgeries and has been unable to work for several months. Their family is fighting, but the physical and financial reserves are nearly gone.

Tracy now has one chance at a potential lifesaving treatment, but it comes with significant expenses and requires travel out of state. We want her focusing on healing—not on how she’ll afford the care that could save her life and the bills already in hand.

We’ve both known Tracy for nearly 50 years, and anyone who has ever crossed paths with her knows the kind of light she brings into a room. Whether we were hanging out after school, goofing around at gymnastics practice, talking late into the night about life and boys, cheering on our Seahawks or dancing together at concerts, Tracy has always been the joy, the spark, the one lifting us up.

Her constant stream of glitter-filled cards, encouragement emojis, and affirmational messages have carried so many of us through tough days. Her generosity has been a part of her since she was young—when most of us were still figuring ourselves out in our 20s, Tracy had a surprise windfall and instead of treating herself, she took her friends on a shopping spree just to make them feel special. That’s Tracy, always showing the love to her circle.

She has always shown up for others with love, laughter, and her own special brand of spiritual magic. In the words of another dear friend's tribute on her 60th birthday "Pure light in motion — a constellation of laughter, color, and grace that the universe clearly designed on one of its most inspired days. You shimmer through life, heart wide open, spirit dancing! YOU remind US that magic isn’t just real — it wears YOUR smile." We couldn't have said it better Mary C.!
