Please support T-Lek’s Journey Toward Healing and Peace

Hi, my name is Gemma Semple, and we’re raising funds for a dear friend of ours in Thailand — and a friend to so many across the World — Tang Panithan Saisirivechakul, lovingly known as "T-Lek," TLek was first diagnosed with cancer six years ago. What began as tongue cancer eventually spread to his neck. After enduring rounds of difficult treatment, the cancer thankfully went into remission.
But the journey didn’t end there.
As part of his treatment, T-Lek had to have a portion of his lower jaw removed. This life-altering surgery means he can no longer eat or drink normally. Today, he relies on a feeding tube to receive nourishment.
This fundraiser was originally created to help T-Lek afford reconstructive jaw surgery. Sadly, due to severe damage to his blood vessels, that surgery is no longer possible.
Now, our focus has shifted — to supporting T-Lek’s ongoing medical needs and helping him live with greater comfort, dignity, and hope for the future.
In spite of everything, T-Lek shows an incredible spirit. He still runs a small restaurant from his mother’s home, preparing meals for others — even though he can no longer taste or enjoy them himself. His strength and selflessness are nothing short of inspiring.
T-Lek dreams of one day leaving the restaurant behind to join his sister on her farm, where he hopes to find peace and a new sense of purpose in nature.
With your help, we can give him the chance to make that dream a reality — by easing the weight of medical expenses and offering him the stability he so deserves.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference. Thank you for standing with T-Lek on this journey of resilience, hope, and healing.
If you or someone you know works in the medical field and may have knowledge of emerging treatments, clinical trials, or alternative approaches for complex jaw reconstruction or long-term care in cases like T-Lek’s, we would be deeply grateful to hear from you. Even a conversation or a lead could make a world of difference.
