Our community knows and loves Theresa, the heart and soul behind Sugar Rush Bakery in Downtown Salisbury. She has brought so much joy and sweetness into our lives through her cakes, cookies, and her constant kindness.

Now, she and her family need us.

Recently, Theresa’s son Logan was in a horrific motorcycle accident. He survived, but he is still in Shock Trauma in Baltimore with extensive, life-altering injuries. The road ahead is long and uncertain, with countless medical bills, rehabilitation, and difficult decisions to come.

To be by her son’s side, Theresa has had to temporarily close Sugar Rush. Anyone who runs a small business knows how fragile it can be even on the best of days, and this emergency has made things unimaginably harder.

We are coming together as a community to surround Theresa and Logan with the same love and care they have always shown us. Donations will go directly to support Logan’s medical expenses, recovery, and rehabilitation, and to help Theresa with day-to-day expenses while she cannot operate her bakery.
