Brave Hearts: Support Children with Congenital heart defects

Would you like to make a real difference?

I’m raising money for Heart Link (East Midlands Children's Heart Care Association), a charity that has been a lifeline for my niece and her family during the toughest time of their lives.

Not long after my niece was born, her health took a sudden turn for the worse.
She was rushed to the hospital, where a team of 16 medical professionals worked to stabilize her.
She was then transported to Leicester Royal Infirmary's Paediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, where within 24 hours, she underwent heart surgery for a life-threatening condition called Coarctation of the Aorta.

From the moment my niece and her parents arrived, #Heart Link was by their side.

They not only provided essential support during the critical moments, but they also brought comfort through small, heartfelt gestures, like decorating her hospital room and creating a memory book for our family.

On March 9th, 2025, I’ll be running the Kettering Half Marathon in honor of Heart Link.
My personal training journey begins on 5th of September 2024, with the help of my workplace’s Performance Coaches.

I’m asking for your support.
Please join me in giving back to Heart Link, so they can continue to help families, like mine, navigate the challenges of congenital heart disease. Every donation will go directly to the charity and make a tangible impact.

Let’s make a difference together!
