Please Support retired Chief of Police, El Miali
Hi, my name is Carla Miali, and this fundraiser is for my dad, retired Chief of Police of Fountain Valley, Elvin Miali. My dad is an amazing husband, father, friend, woodworker and overall human being. He is the rock of our family. My dad had a massive stroke putting him in the ICU with pneumonia and brain damage. He fought for his life and is now in a nursing facility working hard to regain feeling and motion with the right side of his body and learn how to express what he needs to say.
It’s a very long road ahead for my dad and our family and that comes with needing to have some adjustments done to our home. My parents have lived in a 2-story house for 35 years and we will need to make it a home that my dad can live in comfortably when he leaves his skilled nursing facility. There will also be other items he will need in order to make the transition from the nursing facility to home a smooth one. Any help that you can provide will go towards the expenses for his recovery that insurance won’t cover.
He is determined to get better and with his willpower, family, and friends, I know he can do it. Please help us make sure that relearning how to live normally is the only thing he needs to think about. With your support let’s make his out-of-pocket medical expenses be the last thing on his mind.
