On November 8th, 2025, the family’s world changed forever when Dustin (41), Ashley (31) and their daughter Dakota (8), were involved in a horrible car accident which tragically resulted in Ashley and Dakota losing their husband & father Dustin, who went home to be with the Lord.

Ashley is still currently in ICU with an open fracture of her ankle, a broken knee cap and major lacerations and bruises. She will have to have multiple surgeries and will require extensive therapy / rehabilitation before she can return to work as a Registered Nurse.

Dakota is currently in Pediatric ICU at a Children’s hospital in Nashville and has multiple fractured ribs, a broken right collar bone, a fractured sternum and a small fracture in her neck at the base of her skull, along with multiple lacerations and bruises.

No words can truly describe the pain and loss this family is going through. This GoFundMe has been created to help the McLeod family with funeral expenses, hospital bills and to help their long road to recovery, as Ashley was the main provider for their family and every day missed of work is lost income for them.
