Our names are Carol, Jane and Sheila. We are friends of Mary Kay Britzius, and we are asking for your donations to help Mary Kay and Ron pay medical-related bills.

For 35 years Mary Kay flew the skies over America and many parts of the world as a Delta flight attendant. She and her husband Ron lived in Chicago for 30 of those years, where he was also in business. Since moving to Georgia, they have been faithful and extraordinary volunteers with Feed Fannin, a local organization whose efforts support people in need of food assistance, as well as working at the local food pantry and cooking free meals at their church. In doing so, they have had a significant impact on many families, children and seniors facing food insecurity.

Their big hearts have helped so many, and now we are asking that you open yours and reach out to assist them by contributing toward her treatment and her mounting healthcare expenses: chemotherapy, dialysis, medications, hospital stays, home healthcare, physical therapy and related costs that her private insurance is not or is only partially covering.

Mary Kay was diagnosed with multiple myeloma after a long period of suffering severe back pain which went undiagnosed despite multiple tests, scans, MRI's and such until lesions were found on her spine and ribs. Since then, she has gone from one health crisis to another, including 3 hospitalizations, as well as through the obstacle course of healthcare insurance, only to find that her coverage is not adequate for her needs.

Please help our friends through this awful twist of fate that has thrown their lives into such a scary place, creating financial strain during an already difficult time.
