To our cherished family and friends,

The Mackamul family is enduring a heart-wrenching loss with the passing of their beautiful baby boy, Lucas. Unexpectedly born with Meconium Aspiration Syndrome on November 9th, Lucas was flown to UCLA immediately and was put on ECMO because his lungs were too damaged and needed rest. Lucas had many procedures over his short life and fought valiantly in the NICU for 19 days, surrounded every day by love from his devoted parents. Despite their unwavering support and hope, Lucas's little body could no longer withstand the challenges he faced, and he peacefully left us on November 28th to join our Heavenly Father and watch over his family from Heaven.

This unimaginable tragedy has left my sister's family not only heartbroken but also facing unexpected financial burdens; including funeral expenses, medical bills, and the need to take time off work to grieve and care for their beloved daughter, Amelia.
