Her husband Scott went into Hershey Hospital August 10th for complications with his heart transplant. After doing a biopsy, they found he is having actue cellular rejection along with scar tissue. On top of the rejection they found they could not get his arthmyas under control and had to undergo a procedure. During that procedure Scotts heart rate and pulse dropped and was placed in the icu. He will have a future procedure and will continue to make monthly trips to hershey hospital for bi weekly/ monthly biopsys. When he gets discharged from the icu he cannot lift anything for months or drive for two weeks. With a family of 6 at home Shelbie will be on one income and will have hefty hospital bills. They will continue to have medical bills due to the rejection. Anything you can do to help Scott, Shelbie, and family during this difficult time is greatly appreciated.
