Eidlhuber Family Emergency Hardship

On Tuesday evening, Andrea and Will’s son Gavin was injured on his bicycle sustaining serious injuries including a lacerated spleen, which caused internal bleeding. He was transferred from their local hospital and ICU to the Children’s Hospital ICU by ambulance.

At this time he is stable in the Pediatric Hospital and they are watching him closely. Currently, the spleen has split but the latest CTA scan does not show more internal bleeding. He does have a hematoma they are monitoring closely and he has had fevers every day that he’s been in the hospital. Gavin also has some fluid in his lungs, he’s had a very hard time breathing and is in severe pain all over his body. The injuries have also caused painful issues with digestion.

I have set up this Go Fund Me for Will and Andrea because Will recently suffered a major financial loss losing his job, and with this very critical medical crisis, Will isn’t able to seek out new employment at this time as they are worried sick about their son’s condition. They are on lack of sleep and are there by his side as doctors continue doing tests and tend to his care, and they are having to run back and forth home to take care of their dogs.

I hope we can raise enough to assist them with their mortgage and bills, groceries, and any medical bills. Gavin is going to need continued medical care and scans for this very serious injury to his spleen, and possibly for the care of his other injuries. They will need to be able to be there at the hospital, and then be at home with him helping him through his recovery.
