It is with heavy hearts that we announce the devastating loss of our beloved Leonard. He was tragically taken from us by a drunk driver as he proceeded though a green light in Encinitas, CA on August 9, 2025.

Leonard was a loving husband, cherished brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, brother-in-law, and friend. He was a man of extraordinary intelligence and kindness, known for his compassionate nature and unwavering love for his family and friends. His humor and strength had a lasting impact on all who knew him. This sudden and tragic event has left our family shattered and coping with unimaginable grief and the burden of unexpected funeral and burial expenses.

He provided a beautiful life for his wife Carrie and was her sole means of financial support at the time of his unexpected death. She is heartbroken to have lost him so prematurely, and the pain is compounded by the knowledge that this tragedy was entirely preventable.
