Please Support: Thanh Truong’s Stroke Fund ❤️

Hello everyone, my name’s Amy and I’m fundraising on behalf of my father.
On January 22nd my father Thanh was attending an event for Chinese New Years. He had stepped out to the car to grab an item and suddenly collapsed due to a Hemorrhagic Stroke (Excessive bleeding of the brain). He was found unconscious by event staff. Alone at the time and unable to vouch for himself, his treatment was delayed due to negligence and a bias assumption from staff and EMT’s.
The report stated that he had answered yes to being intoxicated when he was unable to form a sentence. His Toxicology report showed 0% reading.
My mom (his spouse) was contacted and mentioned his recent battle with high blood pressure but her information was disregarded in favor of the event staffs assumptions. His medical history was also not found despite his wallet being in his back pocket.
When my mother and I showed up at the ER we found him alone in an open room, shivering and unattended to. The monitor was beeping indicating a critical blood pressure reading of over 220 systolic (a standard pressure for his age range would be under 140). We pleaded with staff to run tests which then showed the extreme urgency at hand as in cases of stroke the hospital is prepped even before the patients arrival.
Currently my father Thanh remains unconscious. He has under went a brain operation to relieve cranial pressure but continues to depend on a ventilator and feeding tube for support. The stroke has caused severe brain damage and has left the right side of his body unable to function. He is unable to walk, speak or swallow on his own.
We would like to humbly ask for your help and support in these difficult times as my father continues to fight to come back to us.
The money will go towards his medical needs as well as home bills while the family is by his bedside.
Every cent counts. Please keep my father Thanh and his family in your prayers as we work to support him in his time of need and as we navigate through these difficult times.
We thank each and every one of you for your kindness and generosity in helping my father ❤️ (Updates will be posted as he continues his battle)
