Please Support Tee's Fight Against Cancer and Hardship

My mother Claudette aka Tee, was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in 2018. She seemed to be getting better until last year. I used to take her back and forth to Birmingham, AL for treatment, then finally got her moved to Dothan. I myself got sick in 2019 before COVID and could no longer drive due to nerve pain, so my son was able to take her. Then he could no longer because of work, so she started driving herself, which seemed fine until we noticed her not remembering or saying strange things.

Well, we found out she stopped going because of major swelling in her feet but didn’t tell us because we had things going on. I can drive short distances but not often, so I take her and my sister. Drs. now have found a spot on her brain, which may be why she forgets often and talks about people taking stuff from her because she can’t remember.

Her house was badly damaged by a hurricane, so she tarped it because she couldn’t afford to get it fixed. Later we found out her water stopped working again, but she wouldn’t tell us, and the bathroom plumbing doesn’t work either. I have medical problems, and my husband takes care of his parents' medical issues and doctors, so we are stretched thin.

If anyone can find it in their heart to give, please do. My mom is well known and liked in the community but she won’t ask for help. She worked for the Salvation Army for 20 years and lost her job because of medical issues that she could no longer bend or lift. She’s a good-hearted person, and I’m praying this page finds you and you’re willing to help her.
