Jacob recently experienced shortness of breath, atrial flutter, and rapid heart rate over the weekend.  He went to the heart hospital ER thinking it would be nothing.  
Jacob was diagnosed with Marfan syndrome. This has caused serious problems with his heart.  After several test and another CT today, Jake has been diagnosed with a 9cm aortic aneurysm and will undergo surgery Monday to repair aorta.  
Jake will be in the hospital 5-7 days and in cardiac rehab for at least a month afterwards.  He will not be allowed to drive or return to work for this entire time.  
He is not one to ask for financial help but would bend over backwards to help you if you were in this position.
