Hi, my name is Brooke, and I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of my little brother, Shane. Asking for help is not something our family does easily, but we are in a situation where support is truly needed.

Shane has recently undergone major surgery to remove a portion of his stomach (a gastric antrectomy) after doctors discovered that an enlarged ulcer had caused a perforation in his stomach lining. He is now recovering from this procedure and still requires close monitoring, follow-up care, and ongoing treatment.

Anyone who knows Shane would describe him as hard-working, loyal, the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back, a little goofy in the best way, and someone with a genuinely loving heart. Not to mention a great dad, boyfriend, brother, and son.

Another heartfelt description of Shane, from our sister Kamryn, “he’s one of the strongest people I know mentally and physically, always shows up for the people he loves, brave with a huge heart, stays true to who he is, unmatched work ethic, Shane is the type of person you can depend on!”

The expenses from Shane’s treatment and the time away from work have created a financial need that is difficult for us to manage alone. We appreciate any support offered during this challenging time. All funds raised will go toward Shane’s medical bills, medications, follow-up appointments, and the basic expenses involved in supporting him through his recovery.
