Infinite Beauty - a permanent makeup and skin studio - is facing financial hardship due to business closure related to Covid-19 and is asking for your assistance during this difficult time to cover business-related expenses.
Infinite Beauty was founded in 2006 and has been serving the Bay Area community ever since.
At the age of 19, I came to the United States, the land of opportunity, from Russia, and I was prepared to work hard to achieve my goals. My life journey brought me to San Francisco where I’ve lived longer than any other place. For the past twenty years, I have often worked seven days a week building my business, saving, learning, and serving others all with the hope of one day opening my own beauty studio.
In 2018, I realized my goal by opening a beautiful studio in the heart of San Francisco. As exciting as it was, I was terrified of going into it, but I believed in Infinite Beauty and its mission - to provide the best care and beauty services for my clients. The first year was extremely challenging, but I gave myself 2 years to make it happen, and in April 2020 I celebrated the 2nd year anniversary while sheltering in place worried about the future of my business. Going into 2020, I had no doubt in my mind that all my hard work will pay off, and this was going to be the best year, however, the unforeseen turn of events left me devastated. As someone who possesses a strong work ethic, I’ve always been able to find a way to make a living, but this pandemic left me completely helpless.
As most of you know, San Francisco has again delayed the reopening of those in the beauty industry and this is my last resort reaching out for help. Unfortunately, my insurance would not cover me for the loss of income. I keep applying to grants and loans in order to stay afloat. Asking for help is definitely outside of my comfort zone and I’d much rather work but my hands are tied right now :(
While I understand the measures taken to keep our community safe, the uncertainty of being able to reopen for business is devastating. It's been nearly 6 months since we were ordered to close down and the prospect of reopening is unknown. The unemployment money only helps me cover half of my residential monthly rent. I have not been able to pay for any business expenses which exceed $15K a month, $10K being for rent alone.
Most of us never anticipated the situation escalating to this level and creating a devastating economic crisis leaving millions in a vulnerable position, not able to support their livelihood. The industry of providing personal services is among those affected the most and I am sincerely asking you to support me with whatever you can. Any amount helps and any donation above $250 will receive a 20% off any service at a later date. I understand many of us are struggling right now in different ways, but my hope is that those of you who are in a position to help my business survive will give it thoughtful consideration. Donations can also be made by Venmo @Natalia-Bartrom.
Beauty services are an essential part of self-care, which everyone benefits from, and I am passionate about making a difference in people’s lives through my work. I miss creating magic and bringing more beauty into people’s lives and will continue to pour my heart into my work, providing excellence in professional beauty services.
