I am Ken Trahan, sports media executive and personality in the New Orleans area.

Rudy Dixon is a valued, treasured employee, co-worker and friend whom we love and admire.

Most recently, Rudy was diagnosed with cancer.

As an only child with a daughter and no other living relatives, Rudy is also helping his daughter.

Rudy has begun the difficult, arduous, challenging process involving chemotherapy and radiation, along with major work on his mouth and throat.

Unfortunately, Rudy cannot afford insurance to pay for the very significant medical costs he is set to incur.

As a result, we feel strongly about trying to raise funds to at least partially offset the medical costs for the long, journey awaiting him.
