Hello, my name is Ronnie Jordan. I am 55 years old. I've spent my life as a hardworking and reliable man who has always been on the go and supported my family to the best of my ability.

In the year 2000, I had some disks that had herniated. The doctor fused C3, C4, and C5 with titanium metal in my neck. In 2023, I started having problems, but I kept trying to deal with severe pain in my neck and back and continued working. I made it until 2024 when I started having problems with keeping my balance. My knees would buckle under me, and I would fall. I also started dragging my feet a bit more each time as I walked. I had muscle spasms in my whole body, especially through my hands and feet. By this time, I had fallen about five times.

I went to the emergency room, and doctors did test after test. The MRI findings were that I had somehow broken the plate in my neck. I was admitted to the hospital, and the surgery proceeded the following afternoon because I had been experiencing paralysis starting from the waist down. I couldn't lift my legs without pulling them up myself. I had problems making it to the bathroom in time to urinate. I was unable to drive. The MRI also showed that I would need a bigger plate to cover the disks from C3 to C7. I also had a blood sugar level of 340. I was in the hospital for five days, but I still couldn't walk.

I went to my primary doctor, who referred me to the wound clinic because I had sores on both legs and had blisters that burst, causing sores, also on my rump. Six weeks after my surgery, I am to start physical and occupational therapy, unknown how often per week. My primary doctor's visits will be monthly. The wound clinic is weekly. The cost of each of these is unknown at this time. My medications have been as high as $600 per prescription. I also need an automobile for travel along with gas expenses. This also does not include out of work wages, your rent, etc.

I am fundraising to cover the medical expenses, therapy costs, along with vehicle & travel expenses associated with my condition. This fundraiser is for me, Ronnie Jordan, to help manage my medical and daily living expenses during this challenging time.
