Rob is a devoted father to Brandy and Katey and a loyal husband to his wife Amy of 25 years. He’s known for his hard work at Walmart and his ability to bring laughter to any room with his incredible storytelling. Even in the face of life’s toughest challenges, Rob finds a way to share hope and humor, making every day a little brighter for those around him.

In March 2025, Rob was diagnosed with esophageal cancer after months of illness. At present, Rob is receiving care at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and is preparing for a major surgery to remove part of his stomach and esophagus. The journey has been overwhelming—Rob hasn’t been able to work for the past three months, and Amy, who works as quality control at a countertop manufacturer, has not been able to work to be by his side. Their focus is on Rob’s recovery, but the mounting medical bills and housing expenses have created a heavy financial burden.
