My name is George (Hoss) Sullivan. In October, 2022, my brother, Robert (Rob) Sullivan suffered a stroke. At that time, he did not have health insurance. Once he was discharged from the hospital, the emergency aid he initially received ended. The family then was able to obtain insurance that was/is not accepted by the local facilities and/or doctors. Rob's speech and mobility were severally affected by his stroke. He has been unable to receive the speech therapy and physical therapy desperately needed to live his everyday life and improve the quality of life he deserves. The lack of therapy has greatly impacted Rob's relationships with his grandchildren, children, family and friends. Any helpful information in regards to other resources we may be able to access and/or donations to help the family secure the out of pocket expenses for therapy and medical assistance would be greatly appreciated.
