My dear friend and family member Rae exited this life on Feb 25, 2024, leaving us in deep grief and bewilderment. As we navigate this unexpected and devastating loss we honor Rae’s undeniable impact in our own lives, as well as those of their clients, colleagues, and the greater community. We are heartbroken together and miss Rae every day.

Rae’s personal and estate wishes were clearly stated but did not meet Washington State legal requirements, which has initiated a lengthy legal process to ensure these wishes are met. This process has already and will continue to accrue significant legal fees, in addition to Carrie’s time and loss of income. We are initiating this platform for donations to support Carrie as they navigate the appropriate legal avenues to secure final arrangements, manage Rae’s estate, and engage in necessary grief care.

We are incredibly grateful for the continued practical and emotional support of our and Rae’s friends, chosen family, and greater community.
