Support Rachael's Fight Against Amyloidosis and Cancer
Donation protected
Hello, my hame is Jody and I’m fundraising again for my daughter, Rachael Fatout.
Rachael is battling a terminal bone marrow disorder called Amyloidosis. In addition to that she is fighting thyroid cancer and chronic double eye infections which have negatively affected her vision. This an adverse reaction to the chemo treatments. With all of this she also suffers from Bipolar 1, which in itself is a horrific disease. Her chemo treatments include steroids which cause extreme side effects to the Bipolar. Rachael is trying her best to manage mentally and physically.
Funds would go mainly towards her medical expenses. Rachael has excellent private health insurance, but her out-of-pocket medical bills at this time are about $12,000. She cannot work. She has no support other than her grandmother and me.
Rachael has completed 5 months of chemotherapy with 1 more treatment to go. She should have the cancer surgery this month hopefully, and will then start the stem cell transplant process in July or August. The transplant should improve her quality of life. She cannot work for 6-12 months following the transplant though due to zero immune system.
Anything you could spare would greatly help my courageous and beautiful daughter.
Please keep Rachael in your prayers.
With peace and love, Jody and Steve Braun
