Please Support Priscilla's Recovery from Accident

Hello,
This is Priscilla's parents, Marylou and Peter Consolo, and her sister, Gabriella Consolo, asking for your help in supporting Priscilla's recovery from a motor vehicle accident accident.
Some of you may know our family: we have lived in Brooklyn, New York for three generations. We are a proud blue-collar, working-class family.
Our 29-year old daughter, Priscilla, was seriously injured in a motor vehicle accident with a rideshare driver (due to no fault of her own) while on vacation in Las Vegas, Nevada with her younger sister, Gabriella, to celebrate Gabby's 26th Birthday.
Once 911 was called and EMS responded, Priscilla was transported to a local Las Vegas emergency department and treated at the hospital. A few days later, with their vacation ruined, Priscilla and Gabby returned to New York City.
Priscilla has suffered serious musculoskeletal, neurological, ophthalmologic, and cervical spinal injuries. Priscilla was forced to use a wheelchair immediately after the accident and still has limited use of some of her extremities.
Since the accident, Priscilla has been in severe pain from her injuries and was forced to take medical leave from her job to recover (and she may need to take more). She has begun physical therapy, as prescribed by her doctors, and will need to continue this treatment for several months. There is also a high chance that the injury to her right shoulder/arm will require surgery which will take several more months to heal. To say the least, she is facing a very slow, long road to recovery.
For those of you who know Priscilla, she has always been a very giving person, always willing to help other people. As a young girl and teenager, she was very active as a parishioner in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in our home neighborhood, as an altar server, lector, and member of the parish’s Teen Group program. She has also been involved in local government and politics since the age of 17, organizing a number of various grassroots projects, working for our local elected officials, and leading many public service efforts to better our southern Brooklyn community. Since becoming an attorney, Priscilla has been awarded for her extensive pro bono work helping those less fortunate and has taken a leadership role in mentoring other young people.
While our family is not one to typically ask for help, Priscilla has already started to incur significant out-of-pocket medical costs due to this accident which will only continue to mount. It will be impossible for Priscilla to cover all of these expenses herself and her health insurance will not pay for everything. This accident has also taken a hit to her development as a young attorney. And, the timing could not be any worse: Priscilla recently finalized her divorce, which was very emotionally and financially devastating for her.
We truly appreciate all anything you can do to support Priscilla's recovery in this time of true need. Any amount donated, no matter how small, will make a difference. And we know that once she is recovered, Priscilla will return any generosity extended to her by continuing to give back to her community and those less fortunate.
Thank you.
