नुवाकोट शिवपुरी गाउँपालिका निवासी प्रीति र भिम DV Lottery परेपछि ६ वर्षीय छोरा विपिनलाई लिएर डेढ वर्ष अघि मात्रै क्यालिफोर्नियाको Fremont आई पुगेका थिए। USA आई पुगेर ५-६ महिना पनि काम गर्न नपाउँदै ३२ वर्षीय प्रीति बिरामी भइन् र check-up गराउँदा colon cancer देखियो। दुर्भाग्यवश, प्रीति लाई रोग निको भएन र हाल COLON CANCER STAGE 4 को पनि अन्तिम अवस्थामा जीवनमरणको दोसाँधमा संघर्षरत र पीडादायी छटपटिमा अन्तिम दिनहरू WASHINGTON HOSPITAL, Fremont CA मा Room Number 221 मा उपचाररत छन्। छोरा विपिनको खानपिन र कोठा भाडा समेत तिर्न नसक्ने अवस्थामा पुगेको यो परिवारलाई भर्खरै मात्रै डाक्टरहरूले अब प्रीति उनको अन्तिम दिनहरूमा रहेको दुखद खबर सुनाए। आफ्नी श्रीमती प्रीति को नियमित उपचार र सेवामा लाग्दा लाग्दै भिमले काम पनि गर्न पाएनन्, आर्थिक रूपमा निकै अभावमा पुगेका छन्। ७ वर्षीय छोराको हेरचाह र ५-६ महिना जतिको लागि कोठा भाडा मात्रैको व्यवस्था भयो भने पनि यो परिवार अलिकति भए पनि उभिन र अघि बढ्न सक्ने थियो।

सहयोग गर्न साथीभाई, नातेदार कोही नभएको र दैनिक व्यवहारका लागि समेत एकदमै आर्थिक अभाव भएको अवस्थामा उपचारको निरन्तरता, कोठा भाडा र बालबच्चाको हेरचाहका लागि हामी सम्पूर्ण व्यक्ति, संस्था, समुदायलाई GoFundMe मार्फत सहयोग गरी दिनु हुन हार्दिक अनुरोध गर्दछौं। गत ६-७ महिना देखि हाल उनको परिवार र छोरालाई त्यही अपार्टमेन्ट बिल्डिंगमा छुट्टै डेरा गरी बस्ने बिनी पाण्डेको परिवारले सक्ने जति सहयोग गरिरहे पनि सबै जनालाई सहयोगका लागि आह्वान गर्नु परेको छ।

Preeti and Bhim, residents of Shivpuri Rural Municipality in Nuwakot, arrived in Fremont, California, about a year and a half ago with their 6-year-old son Bipin, after being selected for the DV Lottery.

Unfortunately, within just 5–6 months of arriving in the U.S., 32-year-old Preeti fell ill, and during a medical check-up, she was diagnosed with colon cancer. Tragically, the disease could not be cured, and she is now in the final stage—Stage 4 colon cancer—struggling between life and death. She is currently undergoing treatment at Washington Hospital, Fremont, CA, Room Number 221, enduring painful and heartbreaking final days.

The family’s situation has become dire to the point that they cannot even afford food or rent for their son Bipin. Doctors recently gave the heartbreaking news that Preeti has only a few days left.

Bhim, Preeti's husband, has not been able to work while taking care of his wife’s ongoing treatment. Financially, they are in extreme hardship. If someone could just help them cover rent for the next 5–6 months and ensure their 7-year-old son receives care, it would give this family a chance to at least stand on their feet and move forward.

In this time of crisis—with no relatives or close friends around and barely enough to cover daily needs—we sincerely appeal to individuals, organizations, and the community to provide support through GoFundMe for continuing treatment, rent, and child care.

Although the family of Bini Pandey, who lives in the same apartment building, has been helping in any way they can for the past 6–7 months, they have now reached out to the wider community for help.
