Five years ago, Patty, Paul, and their children, Thomas and Sarah, were faced with Patty‘s diagnosis of metastatic melanoma. Patty has, with great openness and courage, included her friends and family on her health journey via Facebook and Instagram. So many have asked Patty how to help as she went through treatments and took restorative time watching the sunrise at the ocean. We have all enjoyed the virtual ocean views.

Patty entered hospice care on April 23rd, 2025 as she exhausted available treatments and passed peacefully at home on May 28th with Paul, Thomas, Sarah, their springer spaniel Maggie and their extended McLaughlin and Lawrence family.

Patty’s childhood friends, would like to raise money to comfort her and honor her wishes. If you can help, please know that all funds will go to cushioning the next phase of her illness.
