Our hearts are broken and our lives are forever changed. We lost our beloved son on Sunday, and now we’re trying to find a way to get to New Jersey to be with our other children and say our final goodbyes. Often we live day to day, not paycheck to paycheck, and we simply can’t afford to make this trip without the help of those who care about us.

It hurts more than words can express—not being able to hold our remaining children, to grieve together, to honor our son as a family. Every day that passes without being there is a weight on our hearts.
